Who we are
TEG Live Europe Limited is the data controller responsible for the collection and processing of your personal data. Our company number is 08423282 and we are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference ZB551126. TEG Europe and TEG Sport are trading names of TEG Live Europe.
We engage various partners in creating the events we organise, such as sports teams, artists, athletes, performers, other promoters, venues, sponsors, ticketing providers and other suppliers. We refer to these partners as ‘event partners’ in this notice.
Purpose of this data privacy notice
We are committed to protecting your personal data and being transparent about what information we hold about you.
Using personal data allows us to develop a better understanding of our patrons and in turn to provide you with relevant and timely information about the work that we do – both on and off stage.
The purpose of this policy is to give you a clear explanation about how we collect and use the information we collect from you directly and from third parties.
We use your information in accordance with all applicable laws concerning the protection of personal data. This policy explains:

Personal data we process
The kinds of personal data that we, or third party processors we appoint, process will vary depending upon how you interact with our services. We receive information directly from you, our customer, as well as from our partners, including other promoters, venues, and ticketing partners. The personal data we process may include:

Name and Contact Details: |
We may process your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, your pronouns (which may infer your gender), an age range or your date of birth. You may contact us directly providing us this information, including by engaging with our marketing campaigns, or we may receive these details from our event partners. |

Information relating to minors: |
We organise events for all ages and we may therefore have details of your age, which can include minors (under 18s). Each event will have its own age limit as set in the event specific terms. These terms will determine whether minors are permitted to attend the specific event, and whether with or without an adult. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data of those under the age of 13. If you believe we are processing personal data of someone under this age, please contact us. |

For customers with accessibility or health requirements we may process information relating to those requirements (e.g. dietary requirements, access needs such as mobility requirements). Customer surveys, competitions, promotions or other campaigns |
We may from time to time invite our customers to take part in a competition or other customer satisfaction or insights survey. In addition to your contact details, which we need to administer the campaign, we may also ask your feedback on our services, your experience at an event, or further information about you. The information we collect from you will vary from each campaign and our event partners, but it may include additional information such as your gender, personal finances and spending habits. We will use this data to improve on our services. |

When you engage with us, or with our event partners, on social media, we may process information relating to those interactions. We may process data relating to your attendance at events, such as entry and exit records. We may investigate and share information relating to unauthorised tickets or other breaches of the relevant event entry terms and conditions. We may record CCTV or similar footage directly or via our event partners for safety and security reasons. We may take and publish photos and videos at events for marketing purposes. How we collect your information
We collect personal data in order to organise, hold, and promote events and our other business interests. We collect information from you directly, and from our event partners. This may include:
Information you give to us through your interactions with us
We will receive your personal data when you provide it to us yourself or when you use or purchase one or more of our services. In your communications with us, either contacting us directly to make an enquiry, or signing up to a waitlist or taking part in our customer surveys, you may provide us with your personal data including your contact details, your marketing preferences and any other information you choose to provide us.
You may also interact with our website and marketing campaigns through which we will collect information to measure your engagement e.g. whether you have opened a marketing email or clicked on link contained in them. We may also hold information on interests and demographic categories inferred from your interactions with us in order to provide you a better service and to provide you with more focused information. We also collect information about you when you visit our websites, please see the Cookies Notice section below for further information.
We may also process information about your health (for example in relation to accessibility information or when we are investigating any incident which may have happened at one of our events), either with your consent or where necessary to protect vital interests.
Information received from event partners such as sports teams, artists, venues and ticketing providers
We may receive event sign-up information from our event partners. We may receive your personal data, including contact details and transaction details from our ticketing providers (such as Ticketek, Eventbrite, Ticketmaster and others) when you have purchased tickets to attend our event. We may collect similar information about other products, services, or merchandise you may have purchased from us, our ticketing agents, venues, bands, teams, or other performers.
We may collect CCTV footage either directly or through the venues at which our events are held and you may appear in this material. We, or our event partners and other suppliers, may take photographs and/or video at events in which you may appear.
Information about you from other third parties
We also receive personal data about you from other third parties. We may have your Facebook page address, your Twitter handle, your Instagram handle and profile picture, together with information you may post to social media or other public forums. Social media companies may also provide information to us concerning you. We may obtain information from marketing and digital services suppliers, research and development organisations, data partners and analytical consultants. This information may not identify you specifically, however it is possible that combined with other information we hold, we may able to do so. We may also receive other publicly available sources of information. We may combine any personal data about you that we receive from you and from third parties.
How we use your data and legal basis of processing
We will use your personal information for the primary purpose of enabling you to attend our live events. We endeavour to make your experience both enjoyable and safe. This means we may hold your data due to safety and operational reasons, or because we wish to continue to improve upon the experiences we provide to customers.
When we collect and process personal data, we have a lawful basis for doing so. For more information on the types of personal data listed, please read the ‘Personal data we process’ section of this data privacy notice. Our lawful bases for processing your personal data include:
- Consent. This may include, where you have given your consent:
- sending direct electronic marketing to you;
- processing information about your health, for example if you have an access requirement;
- information in relation to your interests and preferences, as you may have provided to us as part of any marketing campaign;
- sharing information with third parties for marketing purposes where you have opted in to hear from these third parties;
- cookies and other tracking technologies which may be enabled on your device and/or browser.
If we process your personal data based on your consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time. Please refer to ‘Your Rights’ section below.

- collecting information to enable you to purchase a ticket to an event and to enable your access to that event once you have done so;
- collecting information in support of any other product or service we may provide to you;
- contacting you about changes to events to which you have bought tickets;
- Our legitimate interests. This may include:
- processing necessary for providing our services;
- contacting you with servicing messages about events to which you have bought tickets;
- sharing information with venues, co-promoters, or other third parties who may need information concerning you for an event to run successfully, for example by letting a venue know your name for access purposes;
- data processing for the purposes of marketing or making decisions about marketing where it is lawful to do so without your express consent;
- dealing with any complaints or disputes that may arise;
- conducting data analytics or other statistical or qualitative analysis to better understand our customer database and trends;
- interacting with and respond to any communications you send us, including social media posts that you tag us in;
- sharing personal data with third parties as described in this data privacy notice;
- letting you know about important changes to our business and policies;
- verifying your identity;
- processing to ensure the security and optimisation of our websites and other technology systems;
- processing for the good governance of our business;
- processing to ensure appropriate safeguards at our events, and to ensure the people who visit and work at our events are safe and secure;
- recording and investigating incidents which have happened or may have happened at one of our events;
- event access management;
- monitoring and taking other actions for the prevention of abuses of ticket usage, breaches of terms and conditions of sale, or other behaviours inconsistent with ticket, event, venue, or other terms and conditions or law;
- The protection of a vital interest. This may include:
- providing information to the police or medical services to prevent serious personal harm. We will not store this information for longer than it is needed.
Sharing data with our partners
We may share personal data with, and receive personal data from, third parties. We may also engage third parties to process personal data on our behalf. Where we do so, we will comply with the applicable data protection laws relating to transfers or processing agreements of that nature. If we share personal data with another ‘controller’ of personal data, their data privacy notice will apply to their processing of that personal data. In some circumstances we may make that data privacy notice (sometimes referred to as a ‘privacy policy’) available on their behalf.
We may share personal data with or receive personal data from the following:
- Technology and service providers. We collaborate with technology and service providers to support our services, to enhance efficiency and improve our services. This includes ticketing platforms, customer relationship management providers, infrastructure and cloud storage providers, digital and email marketing platform providers, analytics platform providers, marketing and digital agencies and software providers. We may engage other suppliers in the organisation of events (such security and staffing), as well as other trusted providers to continually improve our event experience and services. We may provide information to business service providers such as auditors, insurers, and legal advisors. For example, some of our key service providers are Mailchimp (marketing services) and Google (web analytics and advertising services amongst others).
- TEG group companies. We may share personal data between the companies in our group (the TEG Group), including our parent companies in Australia, Ticketek Pty Ltd and TEG Pty Ltd , and our group companies in the UK including Ticketek UK Limited as well as any entities that may in future become part of the TEG group of companies or in which TEG may have an interest. We may do this for operational efficiencies, product development or resource sharing purposes, or where for example we are collaborating with those companies to organise events. In the event that Ticketek or the TEG Group sells any part of its business or assets, we may be required to provide personal data to that purchaser.
- Event partners. We may both provide personal data to and receive personal data from our event partners, such as venues, other event organisers/promoters, athletes, artists, and teams. The event partners we share information with will depend on the events you attend. We may need to share certain information with the venues for access management, for example, where accessible tickets are offered to ensure the relevant venue can accommodate any access requirements. Our event partners may appoint additional service providers and we may share information with those third-party service providers (such as marketing agencies) on the direction of our event partners. Where we collect email or SMS marketing consents, waiting lists, or other consents or marketing information, on behalf of an event partner, we may share that information with them. Our event partners may collect information such as audience insight data to share with us. We may share personal data with our appointed ticketing providers for marketing purposes, and they may in turn act as a processor on our behalf in sending marketing materials to you.
- Product and service partners. We may sell products and services which are provided by third parties, such as venues, sports persons/teams, artists, merchandising companies or other suppliers, and sold through our authorised ticketing providers, in which case we may exchange information about your purchases. This could include charity contributions as part of the ticket purchase.
- Marketing collaborations. We may collaborate with an event or product partner in a marketing campaign, such as running a competition or a survey with a sports person or team, artist, venue, ticketing provider or another promoter. In those instances information will be shared between us and our event partner, to facilitate the campaign.
- Audience insight partners. In order to improve our marketing personalisation we may share limited information with marketing partners including social media companies such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Alphabet (Google), X (formerly Twitter) and ByteDance (TikTok). In order to understand our event audiences and improve marketing personalisation we may share information relating to cookies and similar technologies with our event partners, such as athletes, sports teams, artists, teams, artist management, and talent agencies. We may appoint other service providers or engage analytics partners to improve our reach and optimise marketing performance. We may receive personal data from third parties, such as governmental bodies, industry groups, arts councils, charities, and other groups, to help us better understand live entertainment audiences. We may share information with those bodies in return. If we run promotions or competitions with or on behalf of third parties, we may share information with them.
- Customers. Customers may give us personal data relating to other people in their group of actual or prospective event attendees.
- Authorities and emergency services. We may share information with the emergency services, fraud prevention agencies, and courts. We may also provide information to authorities such as tax authorities or regulators.
Security of your personal data
We have in place appropriate safeguards (both in terms of our procedures and the
technology we use) to keep your personal data as secure as possible. We will ensure that any third parties we use to process personal data on our behalf will do the same.
International transfers of your personal data
We are a part of a global group of companies and our events involve athletes, artists and other event partners from across the globe. We co-promote events with promoters based in various European countries, for example. As such, the data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the United Kingdom, and we in turn may receive and store data collected by our event partners outside the United Kingdom.
Your personal data may also be processed by staff operating in Australia or elsewhere outside the United Kingdom working for us or third-party data processors. Such staff or third parties may be engaged in, among other things, the provision of our services to you, the processing of transactions and/or the provision of support services.
Any such transfer will be performed with appropriate safeguards prescribed by data protection law. This will include transfers made where an ‘adequacy’ decision has been made by a relevant government or regulatory body, or by the use of standard international data transfer agreements or standard contractual clauses endorsed by applicable governmental or regulatory bodies.
How long will your personal data be kept?
The length of time for which we retain your personal data will depend on the nature of the information and the reasons for its use. We will retain your information for as long as is necessary in order to enable you to attend our events or where you have asked us to send you promotional material concerning our events, for as long as you have provided your consent. We may need to keep some information for longer periods of time. For example, we may keep records of ticket sales for legal and accounting reasons for longer periods of time. We will not retain your personal data for any longer than is allowed by applicable data protection law.
In some circumstances we will retain your personal data for a shorter period, including recorded CCTV footage from our events , unless we are required to retain it for longer (for example, if we are investigating an incident, or have been asked to retain specific CCTV footage for a longer period by government or law enforcement officials).
Where we use cookies and similar technologies, the length of time they remain in place will depend on the type of cookie used. ‘Session’ cookies will remain in place until you close your browser. ‘Persistent’ cookies will remain in place until they are removed. You can remove persistent cookies by using your browser’s cookie removal tool.

Duration of cookies – session & persistent cookies
The duration of the cookies depend on their use case. Session cookies only collect information during your visit to our website, and are removed from your device when you no longer access our services. An example of session cookies are those that monitor your use of our website. Persistent cookies are not removed when you leave our website but remain for a set period of time following your visit allowing us or a third party to recognise you. This includes cookies used to remember any preferences you have set. Advertising and e-commerce cookies are also persistent cookies, the former tracks your online behaviour beyond your visit to our website, and the latter stores non-sensitive payment information, for example. First and Third Party cookies
Cookies set by TEG are first party cookies, however we also permit our partners and other third parties to set cookies, and these are called third-party cookies. These third-party cookies are used when our website incorporates elements from other sites, such as images, social media plugins or advertising. When the browser or other software fetches these elements from the third party site, that site may set cookies as well. If you interact with any affiliate links on our website, we may earn a commission from any purchases made through and/or impressions served on these third-party websites, and your interaction is tracked to ensure affiliate commission is fulfilled to the right originating website.

TEG uses well-established software solutions from trusted providers like Microsoft, Google, Mailchimp, and other global solutions and platforms. These systems may incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance performance, improve user experience, and streamline various business processes.
Examples of how AI may be used include, but are not limited to:
- Automating routine tasks for improved efficiency (e.g. scheduling, invoice processing and document management).
- Providing recommendations and insights (e.g. utilising existing transaction data to identify trends and enhance our business offering).
- Enhancing data security and privacy measures (e.g. monitoring and detecting unusual patterns in real time).
- Improving or refining content (e.g. text automation or natural language processing)
Please note that while AI may assist in these areas, human oversight remains integral to our operations, and decisions involving personal data are always subject to review.
These AI tools and technologies are not primarily used to process personal data however where such processing takes place, it is done in accordance with applicable laws and the relevant data sharing agreements in place. These ensure that any processing is strictly carried out in accordance with the agreed purpose and parameters, data is kept secure and general data protection standards are adhered to.
Automated decision making and profiling
We do not generally make decisions using automated tools. If we do, we will let you know.
We may use certain profiling tools, meaning using data to assess the likelihood of someone being interested in our products and services. This may involve activities like analysing or predicting individual preferences, such as purchasing interests. We may also compare data with the preferences of our other customers who share similar engagements with our products and services. We do this to try to personalise experiences and deliver content to those people who are most interested in it. This may include targeted advertising or website content to better suit your interests. In the course of its business, TEG Live Europe may also processes personal data relating to sportspersons, talent, artists, musicians, performers, their touring parties, agents, managers, and other related parties. We may collect the following categories of personal data:
